Last night, a former co-worker and her fiancé tied the knot in a semi-traditional Persian wedding at The Ritz Carlton Hotel in Marina Del Rey. There were at least two hundred people who shared their special night and these were people who know how to party. After the ceremony, the couple went straight to the dance floor and never left until after about two hours of dancing. The dance floor was packed as the band and dj took turns in making the party a big blast.
My eyes feast among the dozen of characters among the guests – some amusing, some funny and some endearing. I thought about two of my dear college friends who would be getting married in February and that I would miss it. However, last night was a good one – good food, good music and more especially, good company.
